Our First Big Apartment Purchase!

I spent the day waiting for DHL to deliver a package.  I wanted to go to the Friday market, but didn't want to miss the delivery guy again.  After calling the company they gave me a time frame which the package would be delivered, um 9am to 6pm?!  That's even worse than the cable guy! lol  The cold, rainy weather made waiting inside a little easier.

A cold rainy day is the perfect setting for baking so I made some really good banana oat cookies.  They were a weight watchers recipe so I didn't feel too bad about the numerous scoops of batter I consumed!

Come to find out the package was our shower curtain and mat, which I was quite excited about!  One room checked off as done (I know it's an easy room, but that makes me feel more accomplished!)  So here is our bathroom:

When Dustin came home we drove to Brussels to go to Habitat and order our sofa.  It took quite some time and of course they do not carry the sofa we want so we have to wait 6-8 weeks.  But I absolutely love it and it is totally worth the wait!  Here it is:

We are going to the "flea markets" tomorrow so hopefully I will have some great finds to share with you!
